Top Fuel 2008 Saturday Nite Drag's (November 3, 2007) 215Hp air-cooled Ducati (November 2007) Put a smaller turbo on the 900ss as we couldn't get 19 lb boost. Got 107 and Todd found then the blow off hose had got a hole in it. Fixed that and got 215hp. Not bad for a 67hp engine all standard with Carrillo rods and ceramic coated pistons.
Todd then ran a 8.958 (242.2 kph) at Motorplex!
Newman Drags 2007 (August 2007) Well we have just got back from the Newman outback drags and i was a great show. The track was impressive with 400 meters to race on 400 meters to stop then three sets of witches hats that says your about to go onto the rest of the airstrip which was all up about 1.5Ks long.
When we entered one of the boys that run the show was telling us about the strip he said you can race down the strip, you can have 400 meters to stop in and if you have to go any further because of a stuck throttle that's ok go through the witches hats but... They will shoot you...
Todd checked the data logger on the Motec on the turbo bike 237kph so if you can imagine going through the two steel posts with the wire across the track with the truck batteries in the middle in the 9 second department... He said on the first run he shut off 100 meters before the end .
Todd won the mod bike class and i got third on the 916/996 on Nos and when you see little cyclones going down the spectator side of the track with paper and dust going around and blowing peoples hats off you know you in the outback...
That's right i forgot to say you weren't allowed to do burnouts on the airstrip so you warmed your tyre up on convayer belting held down with the spikes you hold railway line onto sleepers...
THANK GOD THERES NO CORNERS
TODDS DAUGHTERS NAME IS MILLY
RED BULL BEFORE THE RACE
BEST OF LUCK TO YA
THE PITS ON THE AIRSTRIP
SHIT THE CROSSWALKS ARE BIG UP HERE
PLANES LANDING AFTER THE RACING
TODD WON I GOT THIRD BUT DIDN'T GET HIT BY A PLANE SO IT WAS A BONUS

Jet Car Nite Motorplex - 04/14/2007 Western Nationals - 04/08/2007 Went to the Top Fuel meeting on Saturday nite and it was a 2 day event. We lowered the 916 and put nitrous on it. It use to do 10.6 and now with the NOS and strapped down it does 10.2. Did my fastest mph the other day 141.28mph at a 10.354 sec pass. On the race nite one, the 1st race won the second one dialled a 10.3 and did a 10.302 did 2 thousands of a second off the time I nominated which kept me in the game and going into the third round I redlite... Took off to early by would you belive 9 thousands of a second so I had a good nite and had some fun.
Todd didn't run but he was up there with me. Booked into the WinterNationals for June to go over to QLD like we did before and have a race over there. They get 40 thousand people at that event. Just a bit of maths for you Ill travell to QLD and back which will be approx 10,000 ks get 3 qualifying runs and a race, if I red lite or go out in the 1st round I would have travelled 10,000ks for 48 seconds of riding... Last time I was there I got a throphy for the most distance travelled. Heres some photos of the top fuel nite.
Western Nationals - 03/12/2007 Last week at the Western Nationals.
Put in the race bikes at the Lord Forrest on the weekend at a bike and car show.
Nitrous on my 996 - 03/02/2007 Just put some Nitrous on my 996 road bike that I'm racing at the drags till I get the new one. Todd is riding the 900SS turbo bike now. Racing this weekend at the Western Nationals in WA 2 day event.
Rev-It - 02/15/2007 Just been to the Rev-It finance all bike dragbike meeting and todd did a 9.10 at 153mph. I was in the vee twin class and got right throught to the finals and got beaten by a wheel length just sending some photos. 900ss turbo bike 206hp and the shop front.
Sunday, 14 Jan 2007 The turbo bike is playing up at the moment it has a little miss so todd is getting made up another crank trigger, I think he said. The hall effect type... He rode a ZX10R the last 2 meetings and last nite won the nite and won a big perpetual thropy that's been going for 22 yrs. Here's a picture from last
Nite. Click Here for time and more info.
Eastern Creek - 12/20/2006 You can walk over the Sydney Harbour bridge a long shot you canjust see the people and a zoomed in shot. Also luna park under the bridge probably been there since the 30's.
Todd and i went to a dealers meeting on monday and tuesday were taken to Eastern Creek for the first test ride on the 1098S in the world outside the launch in South Africa for the jernos. Awsome bike looks perfect goes unreal and I don't have to say how it handles. I went out first behind Craig McMartian and he was on a 999R so Ii was the first person in Australia to do the first lap of Eastern Creek on the new bike.
Steve Whitby said today the bike Alex Gobert rode later on the day when the jernos from oz had a ride they plugged in the data logger which come with the bikes and it showed he did 291kph down the straight. Not bad out of the box. Best looking duke couldn't see one fault in the looks shes a rippa.
Top Door Slammers Nite 2006 Italian Overfest 2006 Just been to perth on sunday to the Ducati Overfest. Check out the original bike that Mike Hailwood rode in the Castrol 6 hour. Tune Up - Nov. 16, 2006 WE JUST TUNED THE 900SS FOR THE 1ST TIME SINCE IT WAS BUILT AND TUNED
3 YEARS AGO the power use to drop off at 7,500 revs now stays up there till 9.000 about 50hp and we got 206.5 rear wheel hp ...not bad out of a basic std engine with 62hp. Racing this week end todd hopes to do 8's
1st meeting of the year - October 25, 2006 Todd and I went to the 1st meeting of the year and we have swapped bikes at the moment with me riding the 916 and Todd riding the turbo bike. Todd did a 9.09 and went out in round 3 with a red light and I went out in The in the 1st round and it was a close race and 1 lost by 15 thousands of a second (About half a wheel length). Todd qualified in 6th place and the bike had a slight miss and we are only Running coil ignition and we think the hi boost is trying to blow out the Spark so we have a CDI ignition on the way that throughs a spark a foot long. Everythink is good and my new bike should be done about March.
Trip Up North - October 15, 2006 The Fastest Ducati 2 Valve in The World.

Todd Patterson sets a 8.98 sec pass at 261.80kph on a turbocharged Ducati 900ss.
Todd's first run was a 9.5 sec pass and then he turned up the boost to 19.5 from 14.5 lb and ran a 9.045 sec pass at 149 mph and went out again to do a 9.01 and then a 9.02 not bad. One hundreth off cracking into the 8's in his first three runs.
Todd did a clutch adjustment and also he found the bike was leaning to the right a bit so he had to do a fair bit of counter leaning to the left to get it to go straight down the track. He went out again and did a 8.98 sec pass at a wopping 261.80 kph that's about 162 mph and we couldn't belive the top speed of the bike, the best I have ever run was 153 mph but on the datalogger it showed he was on full throttle from the beginning to the end.
Todd found he could get his feet straight up onto the footpegs while I was leaving mine trail out the back and this made the bike a bit more unstable and made you back the throttle off now and then to preserve the human body (hay that's my excuse for him bettering my best time in only 3 runs and never riding the bike before). He said it was pretty scary as he has to counter lean the bike which then made it weave at the end of the quarter mile track but he said it was quite exciting.
The New Shop Look - June 30, 2006 June 28, 2006 June 6, 2006 January 13, 2006 A 9.12 sec run at 149 mph. See how it sort of flatlines up the top that's nearly full throttle all the way.
Now look at the 014/016 run same run all over the place going right down to 13.5 % throttle opening. How fast would it go if you were on full throttle
All the way. That was 152.5 mph run.
You will see cursor cross in photos and degree of throttle opening down bottom.

Dyno Ducati at 203hp Just fitted the new boost controller on set it up to 18lb boost were running 19lb last year at 192hp... just got 203hp...
When Harley's Attach todd and i went to the track saturday for our test and tune
Todd did a 10.5 at 133mph on his first run, I did a 9.3 at 138 mph.
Todds shifter (electronic) played up so not such a good run. My bike took off towards the centre line and tried to kill me... But were mates again
My last run was a 9.20 at 140 mph on only 14.5 lb boost normally run 19lb, so were down about 30 horsepower but were going to run it at that till i need more power and then take it up 1 lb at a time and try and crack into the 8's
Best run was last season 19lb boost 9.12 at 146 mph.
Willowbank - AustralianDragBike.com.au New Ducati 916 Drag Bike For The 2005 Season Our New Van For The 2 Drag Bike Polished Turbo Ducati Monster Bird Strike (The Parrot) Old & New... QLD Winter Nationals 2005 Just been to QLD for the last round of the Australian titles did a couple of 9.3 and a 9.1 at 15lb boost, normally do 9.1 at 19lb boost, I'm holding the throttle open more on full the data logger is showing, so next year I think we will crack a 8.9 we will put on an electronic boost controller as the different weather conditions must have given us lower boost. Give em a bit of a shock on the Eastern coast as they had never seen a proper Ducati drag bike before!
I got 4th fastest qualifier out of 40 bikes, didn't win. Won the first round and red light in round 2. Todd went as well and ran 3 rounds before red lighting.
